Green Line

Optimal temperatures, skilled care and a good climate: this is the balance coffee needs in order to grow. Likewise, our goal is to promote harmonious and intelligent growth with respect for the environment that surrounds us. Today our research is aimed at producing machines with a low environmental impact: our Green Line is an ambassador for this project. It’s the revolutionary line of energy-saving coffee machines launched on the market in 2009.
Thanks to the use of separate boilers for each individual brewing group and a system that memorizes the workload, our technology provides certified energy savings of 47.6% in standby mode and 30% while in use.
The Wegaconcept is the flag bearer for this philosophy. It’s a high tech, energy saving espresso coffee machine.

    Self-Learning Software

Thanks to its innovative software, the Wegaconcept has the ability to memorize the workload of the machine, thus adjusting the work and standby functions accordingly.

This unique feature can read different workloads at different times during the day and adjust the machine accordingly, activating indispensible services and functions from one period to the next.

The consumption memorization system, combined with the use of separate boilers for each individual brewing group, allows for certified energy savings of up to 47.6%, without altering the machine’s performance through time.

    Multi Boiler Technology

Quality is always impeccable, starting from the first morning coffee

The multiple boiler technology, apart from the energy saving function which distributes power to the individual boilers only when required, guarantees an increased thermal heat stability of the coffee brewing boilers, giving us a perfect espresso.
With Wegaconcept the quality between the first and hundredth cup of coffee remains consistent throughout the day. Thanks to its multi-boiler technology, rest assured that the coffee will always be excellent, without having to compromise between the various blends used.

    Low Energy Consumption

The function of the nocturnal standby mode, combined with the MBT and SLS technology, allow the Wegaconcept to obtain a certified energy saving of 47,6% during the nocturnal rest period, and of 30% during the operational period (relative to an average weekly consumption of 15kg of coffee).
This software automatically switches the groups to stand-by mode when there is a light workload and sets them up to work harder when necessary: if needed, the brew groups reactivate in a few seconds and quickly achieve the desired temperature.
Low Energy Consumption technology makes it possible to save significantly, even when the machine is working at full capacity.
The Low Energy Consumption function also limits the dynamic stress on the machine, conserving its performance through time.

    High Safety Boiler

Particular attention has been dedicated to the operational safety of the Wegaconcept. The Wegaconcept offers 5 separate safety features on the services boiler, and 4 separate safety features on the individual coffee brewing boilers.

Safety features on the services boiler

    • The pressure switch disengages the power supply to the heating element if the pressure in the boiler reaches 1,5 bars
    • Should the pressure switch malfunction, the boiler safety valve opens when the pressure in the boiler reaches 2,0 bars
    • A temperature sensor, disconnects the heating element when it reaches 130°C, and gives a visual alarm signal on the display
    • A secondary safety sensor positioned internally in the boiler, disconnects the heating element should a temperature of 169°C be reached
    • A function on the Central Processing Unit, disconnects the heating element should it work uninterruptedly at 100% of its capacity for longer than 60 seconds

Safety features on the individual coffee brewing boilers

    • A temperature sensor, disconnects the heating element when it reaches 130°C, and gives a visual alarm signal on the display
    • A secondary safety sensor, disconnects the heating element should a temperature of 150°C be reached
    • The SNCR valve opens when the pressure in the hydraulic circuit surpasses 12,5 bars
    • A function on the Central Processing Unit, disconnects the heating element should it work uninterruptedly at 100% of its capacity for longer than 45 seconds
