Wega was established in 1985 as an Italian company with the goal of manufacturing and distributing high quality commercial espresso machines.

Wega machines are built to last and to be the heart of any coffee business. The Wega product line begins with the super automatic Gemini, allowing seamless brewing of espresso, bean to cup at the push of a button. Wega also produces traditional machines tailored to all coffee applications, including the Nova XL machine with raised group heads capable of brewing into a 20 oz cup, to the Mininova, a small machine designed for small volume cafes or the sophisticated home user. The Atlas and Polaris Compact models are unique machines in the industry, allowing for 110 volt or 220 volt two group machines that are 10 inches narrower than their full sized counterparts. Additional upgrades include temperature controlled auto steamers and chrome packages. Wega also distributes a full line of grinders.

Through the growth in Italy and the rest of the world, that year we successfully produced and sold nearly 15,000 machines! 2007: A new facility
The Wega operation moved to a newly constructed facility where operations and production are housed under one roof. With over 200,000 square feet of space, this facility is the largest single production facility of espresso machines in the world!
A new chapter
2011 holds many changes in store for Wega USA. With new product releases and a newly appointed National Sales Director, Wega USA will be developing a new marketing campaign that include marketing material and website development, as well as ads in trade magazines and many exhibitions at coffee and foodservice related trade shows. Wega USA is aggressively searching for suitable distributors to partner with and support in our efforts to bring its espresso machines to the forefront in the North America as it is in Europe.
